About Project SkillfullyAware
PSA is all about becoming your own best therapist. Not to replace the guidance of a wise and kind person, but everyone benefits from more self-understanding. That’s what PSA delivers. It will teach you to become more aware of all the super subtle emotional energies cycling through your world, body, and mind. Those emotional currents write your story.
If your life is inordinately stressful, your story may have become distorted. If so, that can make you sick. Stress-related illnesses are at epidemic levels. 80 to 90% of all doctors’ visits are attributable to stress. PSA seeks to turn that woeful statistic around. Take PSA and you’ll learn to mindfully monitor and modify your reactive patterns, elevate your perspective, and feel better. If you’re suffering with stress or a stress illness, PSA was created just for you.
PSA consists of six lectures and six practice sessions, one following the next, for twelve weeks. The class is structured this way so you can put what you learn into practice right away. We don’t want you wasting any time in applying the material and improving your life. Achieving health and happiness by the surest and most direct means is the goal!
Ask anyone who’s taken it. PSA is a complete mind-body education. Every class is hosted on Zoom. And, you won’t miss a bit of goodness even if you have to miss a class. With your registration, you’ll get access to a shared Google Drive student folder that contains all the recordings, study guides, guided meditations, and other class materials.
PSA - Next Class begins March 6, 2021
People take the class because they want to change or heal some distressing and repetitious pattern that’s disrupting their life. That pattern could be psychological, physical, or relational, it doesn’t matter. People who suffer from stress and illnesses related to stress benefit most. PSA has helped people with depression, all forms of anxiety or addictions, pain, grief, eating disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADD—the whole alphabet soup and more. Folks experiencing major life transitions also love and benefit from the class.
Remember, PSA is all about self-care. The more you know about your condition, the better you’ll be able to manage it. The better you manage it, the better you’ll feel. It’s that simple. And, if you’re wondering, PSA is for people with no experience meditating as well as those who have been meditating for decades. Everyone benefits.
Finally, it’s so rich and so good that many students take the class multiple times. PSA is likely to touch you that deeply as well. Give yourself a great gift and take the class. You’ll be so happy you did.

“I met Mark years ago when I was a patient in rehab, struggling with alcoholism. Years after I discharged, I reached out to him again when I felt like I needed guidance. Mark’s SkillfullyAware class helped me understand that my answers are quite literally within me. It was so fascinating to discover that we are all essentially just a jumble of swirling habits and patterns, and that making small modifications to our habits of thinking and perceiving produce big, lasting changes in our life. I highly recommend Mark and his fun class. When you take it, make sure to participate, and don’t be afraid to ask questions!” DT
