Creating healthy, conscious culture that enables productive collaboration is sometimes an elusive goal. Skills necessary for its achievement include skillful personal and social awareness, artful communication, and emotional adaptability that comes with working with others. Come with and be ready to explore your real-world challenges and generate creative solutions. Leave with an action plan that supports the positive transformation of your work environment so you, and those you serve and work with, start feeling better and doing more together. Dr. Mark Pirtle
Dr. Mark Pirtle is a clinician, teacher, author, speaker, and filmmaker. He helps people learn to improve their lives through the cultivation of greater awareness.Pirtle completed his doctor of physical therapy degree (with distinction) from Northern Arizona University. Subsequently, he became deeply interested in Buddhist psychology as it applies to healing stress-related illnesses. Connecting the dots between the modern science of “self-making” systems and the practice of mindfulness meditation, he developed an evidence-based program for treating stress-related illnesses he calls Skillfully Aware®. Dr. Pirtle is in private practice and teaches for the Center for Integrative Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Arizona.
Lynda Pirtle
Lynda Skinner Pirtle is certified mindfulness educator, spiritual counselor, conscious business consultant, mediator, and filmmaker. Following her military career and college, Lynda worked her way up the corporate ladder to become an award-winning bank manager and Vice President. In that role, she taught leadership development and emotional competencies to hundreds of employees. She is a lifelong student of meditation, compassion training, mindfulness. Pirtle uses her understanding of the mind and heart to help clients explore their emotions and motivations for the purpose of increasing congruence and harmony in relationships. Her gift for skillfully reading and expressing emotions enables her to direct, inspire, and coach business owners, women, executives, employees, clients, and parents. Her undefended and transparent nature readily encourages positive change in others, whether at the level of the individual, group or organizational system.
